The Rabbi Israel S. Dresner Center for Collaborative Programs & Learning is sponsoring a day at Hinchliffe Stadium for school aged children and their parents. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet members of the various congregations that have joined us for worship for the MLK Shabbats and other Dresner Center Events. Join us for the Unfinished Business of Freedom: A Juneteenth Perspective on Freedom, at 12:30pm at the Wayne Public Library. This program is to both celebrate the observance of Juneteenth and continue the philosophy of Rabbi Dresner to make the world a better place. This event is sponsored by the Rabbi Israel S. Dresner Center in partnership with the Wayne Public Library.

Interfaith Concert

The JHSNJ (Jewish Historical Society of North Jersey) will once again be collaborating with the Rabbi Israel S. Dresner Center for Collaborative Programs and Learning Inc. in the cosponsorship of an Interfaith Concert on Sunday evening June 22, 2025 at 7:00 PM featuring TAVIM, the multi-generational a cappella group from Temple Beth Sholom of Teaneck under the direction of Rabbi Louis Polisson, Associate Rabbi, and the Combined Choirs of the First A.M.E. Zion Church of Paterson under the direction of Skip Van Rensalier, Minister of Music and Musical Director. The concert will feature each choir performing pieces together as well as individually. In addition, the program will feature Cantor Emeritus Charles Romalis of Temple Beth Tikvah with Louise Romalis singing "America The Beautiful". The event will conclude with a dessert reception in the social hall. Please mark your calendars for what promises to be a wonderful significant community-wide event. The concert is free and open to the public.
